Sculpture, Jose P. Balboza 1960/70 #4 (NYC Only, No Shipping)

Jose P. Balboza lived in Brooklyn and studied at SVA. He worked as an industrial designer though sculpted and painted throughout his life, these sculptures I believe are from his time at SVA in the late 60s/early 70s. This series of sculptures feature a simple but striking geometric forms and stark black paint that pierce the space around them.

Some chips that appear to have been touched up with paint at some point. Some chips that show white plaster present. Imperfect powder coating on the backside pictured
