Panther 21 Flyer, 1969
Couldn't load pickup availability
Panther 21 was a group of New York City Black Panthers who were framed by undercover FBI and NYPD agents and brought to trial on charges of violent conspiracy. Among the 21 accused was Afeni Shakur, Tupac’s mother, who represented herself in court and was subsequently acquitted (as were all 20 other Panthers). Unclear who the artist or group behind this flyer is. The 4 hands of peace, fuck you, solidarity and an AK perfectly captures the atmosphere of 1960s protest era.
