Ozark Roadside Tourist Pottery, 1940s
Couldn't load pickup availability
Interesting piece of Ozark tourist pottery. Sold on the roadside of Route 66 as American car travel culture expanded
Harold Horine is known to have created this pottery style and practice but sold the technique to many others throughout the area making it difficult to track down who or where this came from.
This piece features a unique palette in contrast to the highly colorful and contrasting works generally associated with Ozark pottery.
About 7” in diameter at the widest points
Drainage hole in the bottom
