lovely example of Ozark Roadside pottery 1930/40. Saturated pink swirls. 

This style of pottery came from the Ozark region of Route 66, the overly colorful and dynamic pieces were intended to catch drivers attention and convince them to stop for a souvenir in the early days of the great American road trip.
