National Maritime Union Banner, 1950

Banner for the National Maritime Union, headquartered in New York City. Banner made by Kraus & Sons, a New York company began in 1886 and continues operating to this day. Dates likely to the late 50s as the AF of L and CIO merged in 1955. Likely right around 1955 as the AF of L portion was commonly shortened to AFL shortly after the merger.

Appears as though it was made for a ship but maybe never issued
