Crown of Thorns Table, 1930s

Hand made table in the ‘crown of thorns’ style of the tramp art tradition. Generally made by depression era tramps hocking their wares on the roadside, the crown of thorns style of tramp art features a puzzle like design of whittle pieces built generally into frames, furniture is rather unusual in this style. Stable but I wouldn’t set an anvil on it. Could benefit from replacing the plank on top with a sheet of glass. Wobbles a bit with force. A few missing pieces and signs of wear pictured
