Anti-Picasso Mail Art by PAUL, 1970s
Couldn't load pickup availability
Pamphlet that treads a line of thoughtful art industry criticism and looniness. Done by PAUL (Progressive Art Unlimited Line), the black page describes the PAUL manifesto and Project 68 that declares you as a work of art (providing a certificate you can cut out and carry with you). The white side is his anti-Picasso declaration, with a scanned newspaper clipping detailing him burning a signed Picasso lithograph on the steps of MoMA.
Seems inspired by Fluxus.
